Come and celebrate India’s Independence Day at the India Day Fair 2011 at Roma Street Parklands Amphitheatre on the 14th of August 2011 from 10.30am till dusk.
The day would kick off with the India Day Parade at 10.30am whereby many Indian associations will take part. Following this, we will have the Flag Raising and Official Opening of the program.
Enjoy the day with various great performances – Colours of India special item will feature traditional dances form of various states of India. Local bands and other talented performances will continue throughout the day.
Various stalls will be available – food, fashion, information and whole lot more! There will also be kids’ rides available for your children’s enjoyment!
Easy public access by train and bus, lots of parking within the public car park area.
FREE EVENT so spend your day with family and friends at the lush surrounds of Roma Street Parkland. This will be a great get-together celebration!
